E' stato prosciugato uno dei laghetti dell'area Sadam di Castiglion Fiorentino, malgrado gli accordi firmati con l'Amministrazione comunale di Castiglion Fiorentino (AR), attualmente resta solo uno laghetto con acqua, gli accordi ne prevedono due.Questi laghetti sono stati sorvegliati molto spesso recentemente da Italia Nostra sezione Valdichiana non c'è la possibilità che si sia prosciugato in modo naturale, dove finita la fauna acquatica ?? non ci sono ne tracce ....ne risposta da parte della SADAM.
Italia Nostra Valdichiana indignata denuncia il GRAVISSIMO DANNO all'ambiente ed alla fauna, commesso senza considerare le grave conseguenze per gli uccelli migratori,( questa area essendo stata riconosciuta sosta per la rotta migratoria)la fauna acquatica ed altro.
Siamo molto preoccupati per il presente ed il futuro di tutta l'area SADAM.
In agosto 2007 Italia Nostra aveva già denunciato la volontà della SADAM di svuotare un laghetto, fermato in tempo dal rapido intervento dell'Amministrazione comunale .
Chiediamo alle Amministrazioni, locale Provinciale e Regionale di attivarsi per un ripristino immediato del laghetto, nelle condizioni idonee per la fauna e l'ecosistema dell'area, e risposta da parte della SADAM.
