Roma, 17 dic. (Apcom) - Via libera al piano di ammortizzatori sociali per i 14mila lavoratori interessati dai progetti di riconversione degli ex zuccherifici dismessi a seguito della riforma Ocm. L'intesa è stata raggiunta questo pomeriggio a Roma tra Fai-Cisl, Flai-Cgil e Uila-Uil, Unionzuccheri e tutte le aziende saccarifere. L'intesa prevede l'estensione della cassa integrazione, in scadenza al prossimo 31 dicembre, per tutto il periodo che servirà all'attuazione delle riconversioni, garantendo un reddito medio di 1.380 al mese per lavoratore. L'accordo sarà presentato dalle parti sociali il prossimo 30 dicembre al ministero del Welfare, che dovrà dare il nullaosta definitivo al piano.
"Oggi abbiamo messo un tassello importante per costruire il futuro del settore saccarifero", ha dichiarato il segretario nazionale della Flai-Cgil, Antonio Mattioli - con un piano di ammortizzatori sociali che riesce a coprire il reddito dei lavoratori fino a quando i progetti di riconversione non saranno portati a compimento".
La parola passa ora al ministero del Welfare "che dovrà impegnarsi - conclude Mattioli - per dare attuazione al piano di ammortizzatori così come previsto dall'intesa tra tutte le parti sociali del settore. Qualora tale piano dovesse essere confermato dal ministero, non vi sarebbe più alcun alibi per non procedere all'attivazione di tutti e quindici i progetti di riconversione".
