Fermo, 13 gennaio 2009 - Alla fine esasperati, hanno scritto pure al presidente del consiglio Silvio Berlusconi gli ex lavoratori della Sadam Eridania che non ne possono più del clima di scontro e incertezza che si è creato a Fermo sulla vicenda riconversione.Parlano delle loro famiglie che, scrivono, ‘rischiano di finire sulla strada a causa di piccoli interessi personali’: "Le vorremmo chiedere un suo particolare interessamento nella soluzione del problema riconversione, nella nuova provincia marchigiana, perché fino ad ora abbiamo assistito solo ad un teatrino della politica locale che non ha prodotto alcun risultato positivo se non una guerra tra poveri".
Gli operai si sono detti più volte amareggiati, vittime incolpevoli di un sistema che non trova soluzioni. Sono finiti pure per essere i nemici degli ambientalisti e si sentono ormai isolati, un centinaio di persone contro le oltre 6 mila che hanno firmato contro il progetto di riconversione.
Per questo chiedono l’aiuto di Berlusconi: "Siamo certi che lei saprà intervenire nei modi opportuni, sempre nel totale rispetto della legge, magari sollecitando i Parlamentari del territorio perché intervengano seriamente, per risolvere questa questione infinita e tutelare il nostro posto di lavoro e il futuro delle nostre famiglie".
